The Meridian &
Bigbee Railroad (MNBR) is a 145-mile short line freight railroad
that interchanges with the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway, BNSF
Railway, CSX Transportation, Kansas City Southern and Norfolk
Southern.
Commodities transported include aggregates, brick and cement,
chemicals, food and feed products, forest products, and metallic
ores and minerals.
The MNBR was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in
2005.
