Maryland Midland Railway (MMID) is a 70-mile rail
line servicing north central Maryland. MMID’s service
territory offers convenient access to the markets of
Baltimore/Washington and the larger mid-Atlantic region.
MMID’s traffic is heavily concentrated in the aggregates and
construction materials markets. Connections are maintained
with CSX at Emory Grove (Reisterstown), Md. and Highfield (near
Hagerstown), Md.
