The Golden Isles Terminal Wharf (GITW) is a seven-mile short
line freight railroad serving the Georgia Ports Authority and
interchanging with CSX Transportation.
Commodities transported include chemicals, food and feed products,
metals and minerals, petroleum products, and pulp and paper.
The GITW was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2004.
